Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua (born Oluwaseyi Odedere ; 21 December 1985), [2] [3] professionally known by her stage name Seyi Shay (pronounced Shay-yee Shay), is a Nigerian-based singer and songwriter. She wrote and produced three songs for the soundtrack to Konami 's video game, Crime Life: Gang Wars (2005). [4] [5] She also wrote "You Will See", a song that was included on Melanie C 's third studio album, Beautiful Intentions (2005). Shay wrote "White Lies", a song from Chip 's Transition album. [4] In 2008, she became the lead singer for the now defunct pop girl group From Above. The group signed a recording deal with Sony 's Columbia Records and was managed by Mathew Knowles ' Music World Entertainment company. David Adedeji Adeleke (born November 21, 1992),[1][2] better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. His 2011 single "Dami Duro" was well-received throughout Nigeria. Along with his elder brother Adewale Adeleke, Davido is the co-owner of HKN Music (a record label home to Sina Rambo, B. Red and DeeKay).[3][3][4] He has produced songs for Naeto C, Skales, Tiwa Savage and Sauce Kid. In April 2012, he signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria.[5] On October 23 2013, Davido partnered with Guinness Nigeria for the "Guinness World of More" concert.[6] Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Davido relocated to Lagos at a young age.
